Slumber Tea Party

Weekend was one of the best this year. Me and the bunch of lao zha bohs celebrated the end of 1st half of the year with zest and finnesse. Ha, actually, we did a session of hardcore pigging-out. Its amazing how much junk our tummy can stomach. We started from few strings of oily bak kwa bacon strips to half a kilo of golden coins, to Prima Deli yummy chicken pies, to assorted potato chips, to curry puffs and not forgetting stuffing our face with these preeeety little things.

And it goes absolutely well with yummy Honey Choya + Soda/ Green Tea/ Tonic. It was great fun sitting around with my lao zha bohs, sipping our relax Choya and catch up on the latest gossips. Ahh... Princess Bobo even wished we had cuban cigars. Just like the big boys, eh?

What struck me was we could just sit and sip the entire evening without realising it was way past dinner time. At times we would talk about random stuff like... jogging? (yikes!) And then Terminal AA would suddenly blurt out on her forty six year old suitor (bet with him for Rolex plsssss).. and Russian Fat Cat recalled how she nearly drowned at white water rafting (no more ODAC for u for now).. and P. BoBo would shock us with tales of her eat-where-you-shit colleagues. My little contribution was updates on my latest buys from People's Park. Amongst others.

The time spent was fantastic! It was as good as therapy. No, BETTER. Only old friends can thon with each other from 4pm to 4am trying to get pissed drunk (but didn't) and talk rot. Well, I did wake up with a hangover due to lack of sleep the next morning. But it was one of the best weekends with the girls. And I know what we'll be doing when we are way into our 80's. And it sure ain't gonna be knitting, ladies. We'll upgrade to Brandy next time k? Just like the real boys.
