SQ Boy

I have to talk about him. Cos it has been bugging me the moment I woke up this morning.

I can't believe I actually dreamt of him last night. I mean, I havent given him much thought till I briefly asked the lao zha bohs last Saturday how life for me would have been if I were still with him. And I hardly ever dream. I mean come on, a girl's gotta have her beauty sleep right?Dream? Dream on baby.

The thing is, it was a very VIVID dream. How on earth did he ended up being my neighbor? And why is he marrying this fat indonesian chinese girl? Is it because he wants to stop flying and be a house husband?? And why did he talk to me? Why do I remember this dream? Why why why???

I actually wanted to sms him this morning to ask how was he. Then I decided against it. What's the point right? The last time we messaged was eons ago. And it was about clubbing. So stupid.

So how now? I think I'll drink the rest of the Honey Choya and go to sleep lah. And snuggle my Fatboy.

Who Moved My Cheese...Cake?

I did it! I can BAKE!!!
Thanks to my si-beh on colleagues, I actually went for a baking class with them. Purples and Cooking Girl did a brownie last Friday and got me very intrigued. I mean, the only brownie I know how to bake is Betty Crocker. And thats child's play right? But these two energizer bunnies actually made a brownie from scratch. Amazing.

So when Cooking Girl mentioned this week is gonna be Cheese Swirl Cake with Truffle Filling, I thought - hey, it'll be quite cool to learn how to do that. So me and G girl signed up with them and this is what I got after 3 hour of labour pains...

See the chocolate swirl on top of the cake? I made it. Very artistic hor?

And I also popped these out of the oven...

Not only could I bake, I could make bread as well! These little round pows is called Traditional Soft Bun. And they are very soft and yummy..

So in case you are wondering where did I go and learn all these? Its at this baking school call Phoon Huat. Go check it out!

Slumber Tea Party

Weekend was one of the best this year. Me and the bunch of lao zha bohs celebrated the end of 1st half of the year with zest and finnesse. Ha, actually, we did a session of hardcore pigging-out. Its amazing how much junk our tummy can stomach. We started from few strings of oily bak kwa bacon strips to half a kilo of golden coins, to Prima Deli yummy chicken pies, to assorted potato chips, to curry puffs and not forgetting stuffing our face with these preeeety little things.

Have always wanted to try C-cup and finally found the perfect occasion to place my order!

And it goes absolutely well with yummy Honey Choya + Soda/ Green Tea/ Tonic. It was great fun sitting around with my lao zha bohs, sipping our relax Choya and catch up on the latest gossips. Ahh... Princess Bobo even wished we had cuban cigars. Just like the big boys, eh?

What struck me was we could just sit and sip the entire evening without realising it was way past dinner time. At times we would talk about random stuff like... jogging? (yikes!) And then Terminal AA would suddenly blurt out on her forty six year old suitor (bet with him for Rolex plsssss).. and Russian Fat Cat recalled how she nearly drowned at white water rafting (no more ODAC for u for now).. and P. BoBo would shock us with tales of her eat-where-you-shit colleagues. My little contribution was updates on my latest buys from People's Park. Amongst others.

The time spent was fantastic! It was as good as therapy. No, BETTER. Only old friends can thon with each other from 4pm to 4am trying to get pissed drunk (but didn't) and talk rot. Well, I did wake up with a hangover due to lack of sleep the next morning. But it was one of the best weekends with the girls. And I know what we'll be doing when we are way into our 80's. And it sure ain't gonna be knitting, ladies. We'll upgrade to Brandy next time k? Just like the real boys.

Sons of Ipswich

This one is my latest collection. His name is Steven Strait. I saw him last night. On DVD. Very cute. Very very cute. Si beh cute...

Fatboy and I did our usual and rented DVDs over the weekend. I wasn't keen at all when he picked The Covenant out from the shelves. Anyways, so we watched the DVD last night and here's the synopsis of the story.

To the students of the Spenser Academy, the Sons of Ipswich are the baddest boys on campus. But that's not all they share. The four friends also share a 300 year old secret: they're warlocks, the teenage descendants of a 17th century coven of witches. So when the long-banished fifth son suddenly appears and threatens to kill their loved ones, they realize they must face their enemy in order to prevent him from stealing their powers and shattering THE COVENANT forever.

Sounded like a B-flick to me. I imagined it to be like a bunch of ACS boys flaunting their old money/ power, then came a disgruntled St Pat's boy and then their fight began. Of course, throw in a few 'IJ girls and bit of cat fight when a new hot chick transferred from a neighbourhood school to this exclusive institution. Then this neighbourhood school chic started dating this ACS boy who also happens to be the leader of the brat pack. This boy here, looks like this..

As Caleb in The Covenant...

As himself..and I highly recommend to check him out in The Covenant- when he is taking a dip in his swimming trunks. Ha.

How? How? How? He is only 21 years old. TWENTY ONE is bloody young lor. And guess what? He is 1.88m tall. That is farking tall lah! And he has soft brown eyes. Mm-hmm. And his voice is deep and luscious, almost velvet-like.

He sounds delicious, doesn't he? Think I'll watch him again this Saturday with the girls. But chop, he is mine ok?

When Hamburger Strikes...

I really need to start on my NO dinner diet soon. I want to look like those freakin mannequins. I want to be a size ZERO. I want. I want. I want.

But how?! When my Fatboy loves to cook up a storm in the kitchen. And boy, when my Fatboy cooks.. he COOKS.

This is dinner for TWO by the way..*burp

Can somebody please call the Hamburglar? This is the 2nd time I'm having TWO burgers for dinner.

Its bur-gur-licious darling, absolutely yumster! But I don't want to grow an extra stomach out of this.

Ruffles & Ribbons

Ta-daa! I'm back! After MIA for quite awhile, I've decided to blog about something that got me really excited 3 weeks back. It's a sleeveless top with plenty of ruffles to challenge Elizabeth from Pirates of the Caribbean and a cute little black pencil skirt with 1 whole row of round buttons. Only problem is, I'm a bloody freakin "L"!!!!!!! Knnbccb... But what got me buying the whole ensemble from Open Up at Far East Plaza was actually the Golden Belt with a big fat Ribbon! It looked absolutely fan-ta-bu-lous on the oh-so-skinny mannequin. I gotta have it. The whole damn set.

See.. gorgeous isnt it?

Now see this....err.. maybe I'll do more justice to this set after few more rounds of Amore.

Sweet Tooth

Today is a greedy day.

Me and Purples had lunch with J+G at Ume Ume Ramen and we had a set which came with a chawanmushi, miso soup and dessert. Yummy. Or maybe I was really hungry cos I skipped coffee this morning.

When we went back to office, we were busy doing our own thing, googling other stuff, reading other blogger's blog - basically non work related, cos it Friday!!! Kekekeke..

Then I told Purples I had to go back to my derma's office to get back my credit card which I left behind. So I left. Then I stopped and called Purples, from across the street.

" Eh, I'm not going lah. Lets go BreadTalk!" I chirped happily.

"Ok, where are you? Meet you at traffic light." She replied sleepily.

As we skipped into BreadTalk, rows and rows of pastries were winking at us. I really couldn't decide between a Sugared Doughnut or a Chocolate Croissant. Doughnut? Crossiant? Doughnut??

It was a tough decision.

So Purples said " How about take the both of them and we SHARE?"

What a brilliant idea!

So I used the tongs and clipped the PUFFIEST doughnut I could spot, gave it a little drag to pick up more bits of sugar and happily dumped it on my tray. I did the same to the chocolate croissant. I chose the FATTEST one with extra chocolate crumbs dangling at the side. So happy!

So, here is what we ate for Tea today. And we were not even hungry.

Just greedy.
